Standard Memorial Fountain selection confirmed
During normal operation the central jet serves Orange; the four taps serve Multivitamin, Cherry, Monster Alarm, and Fairy Drink. On 14 November they will serve Orange Zero, Mystic Dragon, Jungle Drink, Safari Fruits, and the annual flavour chosen by the Central Council of Diabetics.
Birthday allowance remains 500 grams
The Chamber of Sectors rejected Sector 2’s proposal to increase the duty-free traveller allowance for table sugar to one kilogram. Sector 1’s delegation voted unanimously against it. The allowance applies per person and entry and cannot be transferred.
Reserve Office annual report presented
The Reserve Office is fully stocked. No release has been authorised since the Dextro ban came into force. The size of the reserve remains classified.
Three dishes added to the recipe collection
The Federal Office for Bread Units has checked and approved the Retardos kale pan, Multines cheese crackers and Retardos berry chia. They join the collection on 1 August.
On the Freedom of Movement Act
The ministry reiterates that sector papers may neither be required nor issued. Reports of identity checks at Mellita bridges have all proved unfounded. Article 2 of the Constitution applies without restriction.
Basal rate unchanged at 0.85 units per hour
The Federal Bank's council leaves the basal rate unchanged for the sixteenth consecutive time. It reports that the carbohydrate anchor holds, with one bread unit of staple food costing an average of 0.97 units nationwide.
East Pass reopens after clearance
Clearance work on the East Pass is complete. The Federation's highest road crossing connects the Ge-station with Sector 3 and is now open again without restrictions. Crossing requires no registration.
